How can we help?

How can I edit my video?

Learn how to fine-tune your videos using Zebracat’s built-in editor for a polished, professional finish.

Once your video is generated, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Zebracat Editor. This is where you can customize everything — visuals, voiceover, music, and more — with just a few clicks.
Here’s exactly how to navigate the editor step by step:

1. Swap out a scene

Want to change a scene that doesn’t match the vibe?
  • Scroll down to the bottom timeline and click on the scene (it looks like a video frame).
  • On the left side, a panel will open where you can:
    • Upload your own clip
    • Use stock video
    • Regenerate a new AI scene

✅ Use this if a particular scene feels off or doesn’t match your message.

2. Reorder scenes

Want to change the order of scenes?
  • Go to the timeline at the bottom of the editor.
  • Under each scene, you’ll see two small arrows:
    • ⬆️ moves the scene earlier in the video
    • ⬇️ moves it later
Click either to reorder the scenes. Super useful when you’re testing different flows.

3. Add a new scene

Want to insert something new?
  • Hover between two existing scenes on the timeline.
  • You’ll see a small “+” icon appear.

  • Click it, then choose how to add the new scene:
    • Upload your own clip
    • Use a stock video
    • Generate an AI scene
  • Don’t forget to click “Apply Footage” when done!
Perfect if you want to add an intro, outro, or extra visual for more context.

4. Edit the voiceover script

Want to tweak your script after generation?
  • In the left sidebar, click “Voice.”
  • You’ll see the full script. Just click to edit any line.
  • After making changes, click the “Update Voice” button.
Pro Tip:
Want the AI voice to pause or slow down in certain parts?
Add:
  • a comma ( , ) for a short pause
  • three dots ( ... ) for a longer pause
This controls the rhythm naturally — no fancy settings needed.
